What's In Your Bag: Scarves & Positive Thinking

Another week, another corner!

Disproving the theory that all New Yorkers are mean mugging and on a mad dash to someplace important, more super-friendly faces let us stop them and rifle through their bags.

We met a stylish shop boy who declares this the "Summer of the Scarf" and a bubbly actress who gave us a lesson in motivational thinking from neon note cards. And by popular demand - my own bag!

Any suggestions on which corner to stake out next time?

I love how you sit on the sidewalk...am I the only one the carries ..err...deodorant..in my bag. It's summer ..it's hot...you never know.

I'm seriously afraid of what you might find in my bag. The other day I was carrying around Playgirl and a box cutter. Oh and powder and water bottle too.

these segments are so fun and remind me of my old 'hood. sniff. sniff. it's a great way to glimpse new york.

they also remind me of the early '90s for some reason...in a good way.

very i'm in 8th grade watching Lauren Ezersky's Behind the Velvet Ropes with my BFF and dreaming of living in ny when i'm a grown up...
