By this coming Monday, we're going to feel like we're in a daze of flashbulbs, publicists, and clothes that don't even make sense for the current season. So we're glad there's somebody looking out for our sanity, and it's Oak. From September 8th to 11th, their Bond Street store (and website) will put up limited-edition designs from some of their favorite designers, all pieces meant to explore the theme of bondage. We're not really sure what a Phillip Lim dress for naughty girls might look like, but stay tuned to find out - Oak's shooting all the clothes today, and touching up their video installation of the designs, which will be shown at the Gene Frankel theatre (Robert Mapplethorpe's former studio) on Monday starting at noon. We'll post the images as soon as we get them, and we'll definitely see you on Bond Street on Monday. Something tells us we're going to suddenly be in the mood for all new clothes...
