Cory Kennedy to One

cory_kennedy.jpgThis just in from the Fashion Week trenches: Cory Kennedy has signed with One Model Management, a company that represents Claudia, Bridget Hall and Devon Aoki, among others.

Now, if you're like us, you probably thought Cory Kennedy would have gone away about a year ago. But like any good teenage, internet celeb wonder - she just keeps popping up, but the question is, will she pop up on a runway?

We all know Cory's good at getting her picture taken and the girl's definitely cute, so when you think about it, this is a half-way logical progression. We just wonder how she'll fare on the more editorial side of the camera - if Caroline owns jumping then we could definitely see Cory owning the awkward hipster slouch. Or maybe she'll just stick to the bleary eyed and knowing smirk combo she made famous on Cobrasnake.

To think - we might start seeing her in editorials?!

I'm not a huge fan of Cory, but The Cobra Snake (photo site) is so boring without her. It used to be full of other fashionable girls too (I remember lusting over Chloe shoes in certain shots), but now its like...ugh.

she only knows people.
she's friends with steve aoki through the cobrasnake. and obviously steve hooked her up through devon aoki.
she isn't model material.... even excusing the height.

so i give her props for sucking cobras snake.
gotta make it in the biz, right?!

I'm sorry but her face looks busted. It has that unhealthy look that you get in college when you drink too much, sleep too little, and eat the nutritional equivalent of trash. I better never see her in any significant editorial.

she's just not "new" anymore. it's one thing to be photographed as a teen party girl on a party site but completely another thing to be considered a "fashion model" I thought she looked awkward in the sebastion ads.

she's cute and im sure she got signed more for her infamy than actual beauty. the campaign she did for Sebastian was pretty awful though. she was styled and her hair was all done up in a semi-glam way but i thought her whole 'appeal' was kinda her indie'ish self-made style, etc. seemed very counter to that.

anyhow, good for her, though she's still one of the more empty-headed people i've ever met. nice enough, but always has that blank look in her eyes. maybe One likes that?

yeah she is not fashion AT ALL. she is if anything, unattractive. and what is that thing on her cheek that's always been there? it's not a mole. models are supposed to have exemplary skin, right??

she's not going to be a successful model. the entire fashion industry is absolutely sick of her and her look. admittedly, she was very influential a few years ago promoting the "AA/hipster" look, but now that everyone's moved on to the next thing, it's pretty safe to say she's washed up and should be gone within a year or two. unless, of course, she drastically reinvents herself. or proves she possesses any talent (styling?) other than her "bleary eyed and knowing smirk"

no!!!she's way too short and fat to walk on the runway...
and as everyone has said already, she has a dirty face and the worst sense of fashion...please why are these "it""new" girls still under the spotlights? we've seen enough, it's time to bring on someone new...
to be honest i think she looks like a toad...(i'm not trying to be mean, it comes from the heart...)
go home and go to school cory, you talk like you are brainless...so please will you read a few books?
finally i'd like to end my comment with
