The skirt could be cute if she hemmed it just an inch or so, wore a more fitted top, and swapped those tights for something with more color — maybe a burgundy. Right now, there’s too much droopy beige action.

oh, i think she looks sweet! There’s something to be said for wearing an unflattering outfit for the sake of fashion, isn’t there? BTW, i love her shoes. And the girl behind looks terrible!
The girl behind definitely looks terrible. The cropped sweater makes her stomach look pudgy when it’s probably not, and her shoulders look more angular then they probably are.
The girl in the picture has a cute face, and I like the skirt/top combination in a sort of bohemian/little-dutch-grandmother-type-of-way. But NOT the tights. Oh, no, not the tights.
I think the top or skirt would (either) be ok, even nice, paired with something either more fitted or more colorful. This is just too boring, and I really do want to like it. :(
