Trying to define a Brooklyn Girl as one archetype is as misguided as trying to define a Manhattan Girl. There are so many different neighborhoods and genres and subgenres of people in both boroughs. There are "haves" and "have-nots" and everything in between.

Here is the ONLY accurate description of a Brooklyn Girl: she lives in Brooklyn.

so 3/7 insights came from shop owners in williamsburg. 2/7 came from park slope. sprinkle in a little fort greene and some carroll gardens and we have figured out brooklyn.

quite sad.
