We brought you this information last week, a little too early, but it looks like the world is finally ready for it…

Back in May, Diane von Furstenberg announced she’d be designing a capsule holiday collection loosely based on Wonder Woman, a personal icon of hers.

But she didn’t mention, however, that she’d also be designing a limited-edition, collector’s comic book, called Be the Wonder Woman You Can Be, Featuring the Adventures of Diva, Viva & Fifa, in collaboration with DC comics, available on her site and in her stores starting next Wednesday, October 15th.

The comic tells the story of three different, empowered women - Diva, Viva and Fifa - and includes an intro by Gloria Steinem and a letter by Lynda Carter. Proceeds benefit Vital Voices, to empower emerging women leaders.
