why can't you just post them for us? it'll just make everything easier and we'll actually know which items you're trying to refer to instead of just guessing.

This is all getting a bit tedious.

We know high street stores knock off designer brands. And while it's generally worthwhile that you highlight direct copies of young and less established brands, it's hardly news that the big high street names have a similar version of *that* dress we all just saw go down the catwalk.

Yawn.

Technically there is no copyright violation because apparel cannot be copyrighted. However, if their the clothing or bag has a pattern then that pattern can be copyrighted. The logos are trademarked and for the most part when people get in trouble it is for violating that trademark and the copyright of the logo not the design of the garment or bag.

i was so excited when i saw the chunky sweater dresses, but they looked absolutely hideous on. They make your shoulders look twice as wide and pretty much dont stay on your body. Dont they try them on actual people before they produce them?

Hm. I thought it reminded me more of the Balenciaga jacket from last fall more than a generic Chanel jacket...
