Do actual Californians even use the term “Cali”?

I don’t know about other people but I live in california and the last time I heard someone say “cali” was when they had those Cali-girl barbie commercials. My friends will occasionally say SoCal for southern california, but that’s more in a joking way. Aha I think I’ll start saying Cali now.
Thanks for the post, it’s nice to see something for california every once in a while.

Nope… true Californian here and you can definitely tell an outsider (or someone who just moved in) when they say “cali”.

Well, I’m from California as well and I hear plenty of people saying “Cali.” Some people say it and some dont, its not as if only non-californians say it.
