So, we’re not the only ones with a major Alaia crush.
Phil, from streetpeeper.com alerted us to a shiny rip-off of one of this season’s most loved heels.
The sexy, swirly, wrapped-around-the-foot Alaia sandal was spotted in almost every front row from New York to Paris, but now it can be yours for a fraction of the original price from Oh Deer! - the shoe company known best for painting the soles of their heels a suspicious shade of signature red.
But, the shoes will still set you back $200, they won’t be worth anything in twenty years, they’re too shiny to wear during the day and you’ll have to walk around knowing that you’re wearing a too-expensive copy of a genius’ original design.
Meanwhile, they ripped off these ones, too. They’re not as exact, but someone in Oh Deer!’s design department’s not feeling particularly creative.

It's amazing that Oh Deer! hasn't been slapped with a huge lawsuit for knocking off Miu Miu's tap glitter shoe as well as the shameless rip off of the Louboutin white espadrille sole, red patent leather slingback.
But as we all know, NOTHING feels the same as the real thing.
