Sometime after Halloween, Craig McDean shot Raquel Zimmermann in a studio space in Yonkers, NY for Oscar de la Renta’s Spring 09 campaign, replacing Anja Rubik and Magdalena Frackowiak.
The campaign marks the third for Raquel for next season, who’s already shot a De Beers campaign, and Marc. So far, the only other model with more major campaigns for Spring 09 is Toni Garrn, who you’ll see in Emporio Armani, Fendi, Hugo Boss Black and Shiseido.
Toni may have taken Raquel’s spot at Fendi for next season, but if either Lanvin or Roberto Cavalli decide to keep Raquel on the payroll for Spring, then she unofficially wins for most campaigns of any model for next season. But, if Jill Stuart keeps Toni on for another season, then she’s back in the game against Raquel.
If only they had a Rock ‘em Sock ‘em for this.
