They usually have a large selection and some great deals. What’s odd is that they’ll then have the same items for a much higher price. For example, I got this dress last year for about $70, and I’ve seen it since then at various higher prices (it’s now $178):

I just think it’s strange to keep raising the price on something that didn’t sell out during your sample sale.
when things don’t sell- from a marketing standpoint- lowering the price doesn’t always work. if you’re a brand trying to cultivate a certain image, sometimes raising the price works better than lowering. it makes you seem more exclusive and because the price is higher the consumer feels he/she’s also buying a certain amount of quality and status.
