My favourite editorial lately.. another great one from Vogue FR with beautiful Anna Selezneva since 'Reality Show'.. can't get enough of this Balmain glamour!

I don't know what to think of Anna Selezneva. I got a really bad vibe from her during fashion month. Even in editorials like this, the cool girl factor, which I'll admit she's got in spades, seems tainted, even cheapened, by her CONSCIOUSNESS of it.
That being said, she's got a great face, and these pictures are pretty fantastic, though that could just be attributed to the clothes. Maybe next time she'll be a little less aware of the camera.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this, it's genius to put a veterean and a newer model together, I espec. LOVE the Balmain shot.

I absolutely hate the slick-back, dated, matronly hair on the “older” woman in this story. It doesn’t look original, it doesn’t look fresh, it just looks terrible. For both of these women, every look is practically the same look; no versatility, no excitement. Neither of them sell the clothes their wearing, and both of them look drugged/sleepy (whichever you prefer). And pairing a gargantuan elder up with a pre-teen mini-waif was a rather ridiculous move – it doesn’t bring to mind the beauty of youth and aging; instead it emphasizes the extremes of going for the “not trying at all” look while you’re young, and inevitably trying too hard when you’re old.
