Why'd they include three up and comers with three established models already on the way to supermodeldom??? That doesn't make much sense to me...especially when they include Caroline, Coco, and Sasha in EVERY issue and have already published articles about them several times. Is the cool thing supposed to be that none of the newer girls in this story are white?

I love, love, LOVE Oluchi! I wouldn't classify her as an up-and-coming model the same way I see Arlenis and Lakshmi. Let's just appreciate the beauty here in all of its glory. These women are stunning!

I see the V, the O, the U, and the (slumped) E, but I can't make out a G or what the last one is.

Off topic, but I have to laugh. One of American Vogue's trends to push (and push hard) has been "statement necklaces are out, statement earrings are in". It's been all over style.com, etc. But golly, what's this shoot? Statement necklaces, primarily. *takes another 'schizophrenic Vogue' grain of salt*

They did feature models from various continents: North America: Coco & Arlenis (& very different parts they are!) South America: Caroline, Asia: Lakshmi, Africa: Oluchi, Europe: Sasha

Poor Australia and Antarctica, so left out.

It would be so cool if you guys featured an answer to your trivias. I come to this site to learn so that I can impress future employers and hold my own in a conversation.

hey guys,

we've been trying to be good about posting the answer to fashion trivia - in fact, they should all be up (except for yesterday's, which will go up later) in the comments section thanks to britt backtracking through previous ones last night. as for this one, it's not fashion trivia, just something we thought we'd ask our readers. we thought it was cool that american vogue actually used a mix of girls, ethnically speaking, though so many of you gave so many good, varied answers, that we guess it's kind of like poetry class - everybody's right.

It's great to see equal representation of black/white models. If you notice, there's three white models, and three black models. Equality is beautiful.
