Christina Aguilera to Topshop?!

christina aguilera and her look for stephen webster.jpgWe somehow missed this yesterday, so we’re assuming you did, too:

Is Christina Aguilera designing a line for Topshop?

This is the rumor coming from the Daily Mirror, so take as much salt as needed with this one.

Though we have to say, it would at least be fun to watch unfold: Xtina ripped jeans, ala Margiela? Or old-timey halter dresses to wear to the Etta James/Beyonce movie?

It’s sad that for the sake of non-recession fodder, we kind of hope this one’s true…

oh yuck. I hope she doesn't start designing... though it would be amusing to see all the gaudy things she would "design".

even if she did design for topshop it's not like it would stand a chance up against kate moss' collection

Topshop are obviously supplying the americian market with christina aguilera clothes, there is no way any would buy them in England. Maybe she will pose in a topshop shop window in the states like Kate Moss did.

Someone said "there is no way any[one] would buy them in Englad". That's funny.
I would and know many other people who would too. Many poeple are quick to slag her off but you all know who she is, and are famliar while her style choices. I can't think of anyone better to do a line at Topshop. And of course it wont be like the Kate Moss range, they're completely different people. It's about time Topshop did something a bit different. It's getting so samey.

I really hope this isn't true. Christina is the most un-Topshop-like person I can think of, I just can't see this working.
To the poster above, I'm also from England, and I know many people here who'd disagree with you.
