La Perla Super Sale

la perla sample sale.jpgLaPerla’s having something called a Sample Sale starting tomorrow.

But instead of samples there will be heaps of non-sample bras and underwear for 90% off retail prices.

Expect $10 and $20 bras, $5 underwear, $15 nightgowns and $30 swimsuits which sound more like heaven then a mere 90% off.

The sale’s at 260 Fifth Avenue between 28th and 29th Streets from 10am to 7pm from tomorrow until Friday.

But if you’re looking to walk away with things in your size, we’d suggest skipping over there as soon before Friday as possible. They can’t possibly mark the product down further and we pretty much guarantee a mob scene.

today's sale was for friends and family. it opens to the public tomorow.

Fashionista, what's up?

You'd originally posted on the right hand sample sale listing that La Perla started today, and then wrote a post around 9 this morning to tell us that it started tomorrow.

I had planned to stop by today until I saw the post this morning. When I called up La Perla to clarify (by googling the address of the sample sale to pull up a phone number -- same place/number as last time), they told me that the public sale had started that morning. (No mention of friends and family only, nor did the seem to ask for a name etc at the door.)

I rushed over around 11:30 am this morning to find I practically had the place to myself. There were tons of bras in all sizes -- plenty of 32 and 34 and 36 sizes, and heaps of other lacy things to dig through.

Panties were $15 or, and the bras $15 or less, corsets and slips and other items $40 or less and the few lucky shoppers there were gleefully running around, snatching up cobwebby black lace bustiers and armfuls of bras...

I asked one of the La Perla employees directing the sale -- they aren't going to be restocking, so what you see is what you get. In other words: get your soon-to-be-lace-clad asses down there --

^^^they just had one at this same location from november 24th - 28th and they had 2 over the summer here as well.

i just got back from the sale. i got six beautiful bras and two pairs of underwar for $110. it started getting a little crowded as i was leaving and the bins started to look picked over so i suggest going there now!

I went to the sale this afternoon at La Perla. I got some beautiful shoes from te casan. Shoes regularly priced at $400.00+ for $95.00. The shoes are toward the back of the store.
