The staff there was adamant that business was continuing, and as part of the Gucci Group there was no worry about it failing.

Thanks for the tip though - I bought 4 gorg pairs!

i doubt they are liquifying, i interned there a few years ago and they sampled saled shoe even then for $50-100.

That is really sad, as is all the fashion retail news. However, perhaps these high-end retail boutique employees will start treating people with respect. I remember engaging in a near cat-fight because a new pair of Sergio shoes that I bought for over $300 broke after only one season. Basically I was told you are SOL. Well, now it seems like the Madison Ave. store is SOL. Unfortunately, this is a great example of watching our karma!
