The whole "famous because my parents are rich" or "famous because I party a lot" thing doesn't sit well with me. It's actually pathetic that those types of people are celebrities in our society.

I'm quite ambivalent about Peaches Geldof. I can't seem to make up my mind about her; I vacillate between thinking she's awesome and thinking she's horrendous.

And then there's that other thing with Peaches - she's, well, ugly. And bad-chubby. And not very exciting at all. If she would just be a bit good looking though, that would help me bear it.

she isn't really chubby. plus, that's not really a bad thing. it's nice to see a girl with a little meat on her bones. it's just that she's EVERYWHERE. and why? there's nothing special about her.

the fascination is quite easy to explain. nylon used to be cool but now is like that reaching-their-30s girl that's starting to have trouble keeping up with what's hip and what is so hip that will end up mainstream and no one will care anymore. and so they decide to 'hype up' people that they assume the youngsters will like, who for us are already a little annoying when they were unknown but now are so extremely overexposed that they just make people, like another guest said, want to punch the TV when they see them.

the connection with nylon here is quite obviously the fact that faran works there. hence why there's so much unnecessary hype around peaches and cory even though guests insist on saying we don't care about them and nor we ever did
