Well there are a lot that do this.. I thought Gareth Pugh with Edward Scissorhands too at first.. but now I remember Violet for Marc Jacobs.. maybe someone else has an idea?

Marc Jacobs S/S 02 was used for the "Melanie Carmichael" collection in Sweet Home Alabama with Reese Witherspoon. She gets a pretty good fake W cover too and I swear I still have the black Hogan Pan Am bag she carries somewhere in my closet.
I swear I didn't like that movie that much.

I was thinking the same thing; I think it means a designer's collection that was seen in a movie, that was credited to be the characters own work. And by recent i doubt they're referring to anything in 2002.

ah I've always wondered what designer's collection was "Melanie Carmichael's" in Sweet Home Alabama.. it's one of my favorite movies, although oh so cheesy.
thanks for the tip off guest #13

It was Meg Ryan's character in 'The Women' and Narciso was the ghost designer.
