I think the movie was Domino? Keira Knightly was a assasin, but before that in the movie she was a model, and there was a Jeremy Scott fashion show in the movie.

Unzipped was on Ovation today. Twice. It made me miss Eartha Kitt.
I don't know the answer though.

Judging by the comments there are too many inspired by fictional characters...trick question!

Marc Jacobs S/S 02 was used for the "Melanie Carmichael" collection in Sweet Home Alabama with Reese Witherspoon. She gets a pretty good fake W cover too and I swear I still have the black Hogan Pan Am bag she carries somewhere in my closet.

I swear I didn't like that movie that much.

i have no idea what the answer is but i read the question atleast. and was curious;
it does not ask for a recent collection inspired by a fictional charcter. jesus.

It says a recent movie so I am thinking Meg Ryan's collection in "The Women". I don't know who the designer is but Narciso Rodriguez sounds right, #2.

I was thinking the same thing; I think it means a designer's collection that was seen in a movie, that was credited to be the characters own work. And by recent i doubt they're referring to anything in 2002.

ah I've always wondered what designer's collection was "Melanie Carmichael's" in Sweet Home Alabama.. it's one of my favorite movies, although oh so cheesy.

thanks for the tip off guest #13

Don't just see unzipped. Buy it. And while you're at it get the Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton doc as well. Trust me, you won't be sorry.

I didn't see The Women (the new one), but in The Darjeeling Limited, the "Francois Voltaire" suitcases and clothes were Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.

It was Meg Ryan's character in 'The Women' and Narciso was the ghost designer.
