First Look: Charlotte Ronson

It’s really hard to concentrate on a show when Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are in the DJ booth and Mark Ronson and his new girlfriend are sitting across the aisle and you feel like you’re living in Perez Hilton.
But we finally peeled our eyes away and focused them on the runway for Charlotte’s Fall show.
Dark lipstick, again! Tight ponytails and some very serious Pretty Woman leather lace-up boots. There were lots of little dresses – it’s Charlotte Ronson, after all – jumpsuits, bolero jackets, tight tight pants and some of the western flair we saw this morning at Yigal (more on him soon).
There were cut out shoulders – which we saw later at Shipley & Halmos – and shearling vests and jackets belted over ruffled dresses.
It was a lot, it was fun, it was a little scarier than expected.
And please, excuse Lindsay in the corner of nearly all our photos.

i hope you mean sick as in AMAZING or sick as in completely bored.
I wasn’t too pleased ever with Charlotte Ronson’s collection…it’s…plain boring…Kate looks as bored as I am ha!good thing Daisy didn’t walk the show or I’d vomit(or did she?should I get a bag in case I do throw up?)…Lindsay…I thought she lost weight but from the pics she still looks chubby(look how nice I am lol)!
Yeah…the girl in the purple is definitely not Lindsay. I was there, and she was wearing a camel turtleneck and high-waisted slacks, looking very thin indeed. It’s kinda cute, though, that you’re so wrapped up in fashion that you didn’t realize it wasn’t her!

Please, please, please, automatic settings next time rather than manual on the camera! The camera is focusing on the background rather than the foreground, and as a reader it’s super annoying that all the clothes are blurry but the attendees are in clear view.

I’m a little disappointed in this Charlotte Ronson Collection. I always looked to her collections for girly influences, now its just looking like everything else. Talk about complete departure- more like a catapult.
Ronson is a bit of a key word which signals dilletantism.This collection is workmanlike, everyone looks as bored as are the clothing. Without Lindsay and Samantha, who are nowhere in sight, it would be a show like many others. we could have played Frisbee, or used the runway to practice bowling bowling.
