Chanel Iman‘s on the sure-to-be-mind-blowing episode of Gossip Girl – the one where Serena throws an amazing party and everyone shows up.
It’s the same episode in which Patrick McMullan takes pictures, the Misshapes look miserable and this guy got in trouble with the producers for trying to drink booze in Dan’s fake room.
So now we’re wondering, will there be other models present? Other fashion people? Between Leigh (who we hope hope hope gets to make eyes at Chuck) and Chanel, the show’s obviously on a mission to up its high fashion cred.
Also, this means Chanel’s at least sort of into the idea of being on TV, which makes the rumor that she’s set to co-host House of Style with Bar Rafaeli a bit more believable.
That’s a lot to think about – and it’s only Tuesday.

I never understand all the Chanel haterade on here. The girl is LOVELY, successful and self made (she’s a successful model by choice. . . it’s her occupation, she excele at it, not a rich connected kid or a spawn of some star). I almost feel like it might be a race thing and if that’s the case. . . well that is just so tired and pathetic.
Well i dont generally like chanel cuz she seems really full of herself. But im excited she’ll be on the show! And we all understand that to say shes not a real model is just totally ridiculous, so that someone said that is not that big of a deal.
Maybe she is full of herself but she’s so young and it’s not like she wouldn’t be the first model to adopt a little attitude (Anyone else heard about Stam’s shitty attitude? A little Naomi cell phone fist fight anyone? Carmen Kass was totally rude once to a fashion reporter on a show I was watching too. . . ) I just think it’s silly to pick on her. . . she’s so freaking young. Let her do her thing and grow up a little before we start totally judging.

Thank god 11. . . I thought I was the only one thinking this. Every girl, woman, female I know is addicted to this show and it leaves me thinking “really guys?” It just seems seems a little immature and it always has, but hey, JK Rowlings puts out a new Harry Potter book and the world goes mad. . . so what should we expect?
