Some gift bag news for those who don’t consider themselves too cool to pick through the freebies while waiting for a show to start:
Jill Stuart, who’s showing at noon on Monday the 16th, is throwing some of her highly coveted makeup line into her goody bags, marking their first appearance stateside.
The line has been available in Asia for quite some time, and won’t be making its US debut until “late spring / early summer.” So if you’re looking for a preview, or just a way to recreate the looks from her Spring 09 show, we suggest snagging your bag immediately.
Kind of makes all those unwanted MAC shades even less appealing.

newsflash…girls who work in print media fashion, that are not of senior editorial status, are not living glam lifestyles. FYI…fashion assistants at elle magazine make on salary 27K a year. you tell me how they afford a $900 apartment, plus bills(and thats with a roommate) don’t let them fool ya, hon. it’s those soulless advertising sales biatches who bring in the bank for magazines. and they all walk around in jersey dresses that look like something out of “a pea in the pod”. real women who make real money in fashion are stylists, makeup artists and anyone else freelance who does not conform to the artistic “views” of editors.

wow, i think i finally understand what has been happening in the comments on this site. fashionista used to be read only by people who work in fashion (and given all the news and gossip i’m pretty sure that is the target audience) but now it seems to be read by a lot of people, some of whom are very jealous and too eager at the keyboard. very sad.
Didn’t Jill Stuart give out her own makeup at last year’s show? I swear she did, but can’t check because I gave whatever it was to my mother.
