Elle’s Beautiful Life

Elle MacPherson.

The supermodel’s signed on to Ashton Kutcher’s CW pilot, A Beautiful Life, the same one for which Mischa Barton’s interrupting those Shakespeare studies.

Elle plays Claudia (so if Claudia Schiffer guest stars, does she get to be Elle?), a supermodel from the 80’s who still happens to be smoking hot. In her spare time, she runs the top New York Model agency, Focus models, “with the efficiency and toughness of a dictator.”

Natalie can’t figure out if this is a genuine drama or a satire on drama because she says you couldn’t possibly cast Mischa Barton on another CW soap if it’s supposed to be taken seriously.

I think it’s reality TV with prettier people and a script.

Reality TV WITH A SCRIPT?????? That's all that reality TV is. When I was on one(in a documentary nationally televized on 2 successive nights)it was NOT scripted , and still boring ,except for my segments . This one will at least have attractive people to look at. These plot lines are like meat grinders. What ever went in whole comes out like a mound of crap.

So it'll be like The Hills, only the clothes are actually interesting, fun to look at, designed well, infused with personality, and worn properly?

Wait... Mischa's in it.

As long as she doesn't get to pick out her own outfits, I suppose everything should be fine.

Omg... perhaps, if this show is anything it has the potential to be, she'll hire [gasp!] a stylist and stop rocking the homeless, non-shaven bohemian thing Mary-K seemingly did when Mischa was still...anyone with a semblance of importance.

oh come on, mischa isn't as bad as everyone makes her out to be! you all loved her on the OC.

and the last line of that article bothers me....
