here’s another “adventure in copyright” for you guys since we’re on the topic of erin wasson. i just saw a video of her at coacd for the rvca line she does. in the beginning of the video is a still image with her logo. her name is “handwritten” and looks very close to the typeface rick owens uses for his logo.

I actually think that kind of wardrobe is way easier and it forces you to be more creative. Mine isn’t quite that small but I have just enough clothes to get me through a week to a week and a half (that way I have enough time to do laundry before I run out) plus a couple extra formal things for super fancy events. I rarely buy new stuff and its usually to replace things I own that don’t fit or I can’t wear anymore (cuz they ripped or something). Sometimes its annoying but most of the time I like it.

agree with #s 1 and 2 — I don’t like having a huge array of clothes. When I see features of celeb homes, where they show off their closets (usually set up to resemble a boutique or something), I just think that it would personally stress me out.

I actually went to the sale but got there late, like 3:30 and was told that everything was pretty much gone within an hour and that the first people in line got there at 8AM. I was bummed but I did get a few things for like $30 each (a daryl K dress, cashmere sweater and libertine tank). The owner even felt bad that there was like nothing left so he gave me a couple of tshirts. so worth it!

that’s very cool. and i agree… i feel bogged down when i have too many things, i prefer to just have a few that i know i love.

it is a great feeling to have a well edited wardrobe, knowing you wear and love everything in it. if you don’t, consignment is always an option, then you can put the proceeds toward new purchases!
