Let’s count it up:
1. Mother
2. Actress
3. Model – face of Tod’s, Estee Lauder, RCV (red carpet vet)
4. Gym owner (we just realized “Gwyn Gym” could be cute)
5. Fashion insider (personal friends with Stella McCartney and Valentino)
6. Amateur cook both in the home and on television with her own book of recipes coming out next year
7. And now, celebrity designer.
At the very least, it’s not her own namesake line like “G, Isn’t This Incredible,” but a capsule collection for the French brand ZOE Tee’s, which is best known for easy jersey pieces that can be bought on sites like ASOS.
At least she’s paying mind to the “celebrity” part of that title.

Can’t stand this woman.
Me either.
Seriously, why are you so obsessed with this hag? I would never buy anything from her.
Yay! Now I can look like a stuck up snob! Can’t wait!
i, on the other hand, never understood the hatred people have for her. she really does it all and the only reason that she comes off “stuck up” is because she doesn’t kiss everyone’s ass. she’s classy, smart, and doesn’t give a shit what people think about her.
I, for one, would love to befriend the great Ms. Paltrow. We would go for brunch at chic little restaurants and ask for a patio-side table to gossip and cattily judge passer-bys. Also, maybe then she’d give me some sweet Stella hand-me-downs?? :)
I know she’s been getting a lot of flack for her gym and the website, but I think the website is well designed and thanks to her access to some really talented people has an interesting perspective. Nobody is forcing anybody to go on the site, or buy her clothes…
You forgot blogger.
Also, I have mad love for Gwen guys. She’s been around a long while and has stood the test of time, she’s kinda classic in that way. Yeah, she’s rich. Yeah, she’s beautiful. But so are EVERY OTHER actress we all pay attention to… at least she’s somewhat informative and classy about it.
Go Gwen, go!
Fashionista, you forgot Goop!
Anything anyone can do, Gwyn can do better! Or so she thinks.
The day when celebrities stop being involved in fashion design or modeling for fashion magazines is when I’ll shout for joy. There’s no need to see non-models doing what the pros have been for the past 70+ years. Every time I look at an issue of ‚ÄúHarper‚Äôs Bazaar‚Äù or ‚ÄúVogue‚Äù there is a celebrity on the cover and a six page spread devoted to her. It’s disgusting! How offended are the supermodels about such a move some major fashion publications are taking? Actresses who are asked to lose a few pounds in order to fit into the dresses made by grand couturiers never walked into an agency.
Haute couture houses began setting up in the 19th century with Charles Frederick Worth and now are overlooked for designers from Hollywood. Everyone wants to know which dress Sarah Jessica Parker or Jennifer Lopez is wearing. Oh, wait, there‚Äôs more! They also want to know about the clothing lines produced by the celebrities! I remember a time when the pieces produced by the head designers of haute couture houses in Paris and Milan were discussed not Hollywood starlets. To become a designer one must study, study, study and sew, sew, sew for many years at a design school and at home (if a person is lucky he can become an apprentice to a designer and learn that way). Celebrities normally don’t have time when in their 20‚Äôs to study fashion design at a college or learn from a local designer. An actor‚Äôs career is multi-faceted: acting, singing, dancing, etc. Fashion design to be sold to the mainstream market is something new they’re venturing into after Hollywood says, “You’re old, now go away”. You gotta give a former star something to do in order to avoid feeling like a has-been, right?
Well said, Fonssagrives24, well said.
Thank you, I appreciate your compliment :-).
