Major Wardrobes in Real Life?

gossip girl cast old photo.jpgA teeny sentence in this morning’s WWD confirms a story that was floating around during Fashion Week, and so was subsequently ignored.

Gossip Girl has inspired a reality show.

Bravo - the network behind Project Runway, The Fashion Show and Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style - has started filming a show, which may or may not be called NY Prep, that follows around real-life UES private school kids, to see if anyone really lives a life like Chuck Bass.

Obviously, we’re just curious if anyone actually shows up to 8am geometry with Gisele hair and Celine, but we’ll know soon enough - the show hits small screens everywhere this fall.

Anyone know where this is being shot? I can't imagine any of the good schools (Dalton, Trinity, Spence, etc) are letting cameras in.

#1-My guess is that, like Laguna Beach, they won't actually be filming them in school, but show their lives outside of school.

gossip girl actually started out as a book series (which was fabulous) its like the interesting high school with cliques that is never like the real thing but its just so juicy and fun!
like mean girls but 1000 times better

Well, a "reality" show is not going to let you know whether people actually show up at 8am with Gisele hair -- they know they are being filmed, so of course they are going to show up with it now!

A friend of mine knows some people who were approached about this. They, naturally, declined. I'm still excited to watch this. The Real Housewives of New York always gives me a thrill.

this show will be watched off my laptop, under a blanket with my door locked.

i will never admit to being so fascinated by these people :(
