Fashion Is Fun

School is Like a Fashion Show

Not so much a tip as an observation:

Took the SATs last Sunday; one of the grammar questions had “Anna Sui’s colorful prints” as the subject. Immediately I felt more comfortable.

When the College Board goes the Fashionista way? I had to alert you.

linking this to a previous topic about whether or not fashion blogs counted as real fashion journalism; if the only questions you can get right on your SAT need some mention of fashion...

I wish my SAT had that. It was pretty easy but seeing that would have made things more fun (although, the SAT probably isn't supposed to be fun so maybe that's why). It's probably good they didn't have that though, I might have started giggling and I don't think that would be well received by the proctors.

I would feel more comfortable, too. Plus I can use context clues (heh). Wish Collegeboard put it in my SAT...damn them...there's another reason to be mad at them.

awww... as a former (ok, only a year) high school english eacher, i loved this post. but, i do sort of agree with jac.

my rural high schoolers would have been thoroughly confused, as they mostly shopped at walmart and ate at the local applebees.
