WWD Needs Help with the Boys

wwd cover power tulle.jpgRemember back in November when DNR was folded into WWD? Well, that new men’s section now needs interns.

You must: Be available from mid-May to August, and be able to handle checking/returning samples, answering phones and e-mails, packing and assisting at photo shoots, clicking your way through hours of research, etc.

Note: You’d be working closely with the Fashion Editor of a small staff, and it pays $12/day (you also need college credit), so consider this unreal - but go for it anyway.

If all this sounds amazing and you have a minimum of four days per week (10am - 6pm) to devote exclusively to men’s clothes, e-mail your resume and cover letter to wwdmensinterns[at]gmail.com.

Let us know how it goes.

WHY oh WHY is the amazing stuff in New York? (I'm presuming this is)

It would be so amazing if you could post it if you ever hear about other cool opportunities in London/Paris.. and I guess other US cities, but I'm guessing most American fashion stuff is based in NY.

I'm sure there are opportunities like this in other fashion capitals but we never get to hear about them..

do you think there is any way to get around the college credit part? it just gets crazy expensive to not only pay to stay in new york for the summer (housing) but to also pay my university extra tuition just to get credit (especially since i definitely don't need any extra credits - i already have more than enough to be classified a year ahead of my actual grade level)
