Kell On Earth: It’s Real

kelly cutrone and whitney port.jpgBravo picked up Kelly Cutrone’s reality show in February and now, they’ve given it a name: Kell on Earth.

Here’s what they say about the series:

Kelly Cutrone has been called one of the “coolest, scariest and New York-iest people ever” and, judging from her frank demeanor and fashion world credibility, it’s easy to see why. Bravo takes a no-holds-barred look into the life of one of America’s most legitimate tastemakers as she balances running her wildly successful fashion PR company, People’s Revolution, with being a single mother and one of New York’s most notable women about town.

We’re wondering, logistically, how this will work. Now that Whitney’s Kelly’s ‘employee’ and Whitney’s followed everywhere by her own MTV camera crews, who decides who gets to film what? What if there’s major drama at People’s Revolution and MTV wants it for The City but Bravo’s determined to get it for Kell on Earth? You can’t just share dramatic tension.

Clearly, the only solution is to give the dueling camera crews their own reality show - name suggestions?

Maybe Whit will only be with her for a couple days until Kelly passes her on to another designer. I doubt Whit will stay with Kelly having her own show. http://isnotfashion.blogspot.com/

this is ridiculous.
soon everyone will be staring in a reality series and filming one at all times and there will be reality shows about the making of reality shows.

why can't people just make documentaries about actually interesting people and topics.

pathetic is more like it. The reality show genre is now like watching carwrecks . You're morbidly tempted but all you're left with is a feeling of unease and worse. Nothing is gained and so much is lost....mainly precious time.

where the fuck have you guys been? Whit is not an employee of People's Revolution anymore. She's moved on to DVF. Well, at least, that's where she "works".

eww.... she is so creepy. Her hair always looks greasy and she is bitchy without merit. I like bitchy for tv though... can't lie, I'll probably watch it!

I agree with you #11. I honestly don't know much about her life or what she's been through but she is really successful and that doesn't make her a bitch. She does what she has to do.

Duh, they can just write a second script for the new show and film it on The City's off days. Problem solved. Reality lives on.

i interned at People's Revolution and this woman is psychotic! She treats people like crap and talks to people like dogs. Her image on the show is nice compared to what she is in person. On the up side, I got to go to great parties, and it looks great on my resume although she refused to give anyone a recommendation even though i interned for 5 months!
