People Are Talking

Love Is Blind. We Are Not. Matthew’s Music.

Which major rock n’ roll legend - think huge female fashion icon - is rumored to be playing the Matthew Williamson for H&M party next Tuesday? (Yeah, it’s not over yet.)

I'd guess Debbie Harry. Madonna is far from rock 'n' roll.

really hope it’s not patti smith…didn’t she play a fashion week party two seasons ago and no one even cared…plus she’s not exactly a fashion icon. I would get excited to see, like, gwen stefani/no doubt but not sure if she warrants the icon/legend status. maybe stevie nicks?

Patti Smith is DEFINITELY a fashion icon, and obviously also a rock and roll icon.

i certainly hope that fashion and musical icon of patti smith's stature won't be aligned with a thankless brand like matthew williamson

Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth! She performed for Marc Jacobs and has her own fashion line.

Patti Smith has been an influence for Ann Demeulemeester for a while now.

is there a band or performer named Grace Kelly or is guest #7 referring to the former princess of Monaco? If so I wouldn't really call her a rock legend... and she's dead.

darcykins, they are referring to The Richard Neutra Trio, which Grace used to front back then.

Amen #20.

#21- 20 is allowed to not like her. And yes, she touches a nerve- the nerve that fires in my brain which causes my fingers to type, "Please, Beth, put some clothes on. Nobody wants to see that."

How in the world is Lady Gaga or Beth Ditto a "rocknroll legend"??
...

It's either Debbie Harry or Grace Jones or Patti Smith.
