Streetwalker: Hats Off

Got her: Near Les Invalides, walking to class.

Stalked her: Because her playful, floppy hat was the perfect indication that spring’s just around the corner.

Shot her: Because we’ve never seen a grandma sweater look so chic. Plus, the unexpected combination of her comfy sweater with the Peter Pan-collared dress, bright orange bag and silver sandals with tights, culled from a variety of low-budget sources, made for a totally original look (minus the echo of Madeline).

She said: “I promise you, it’s nothing fancy.”

We said: We promise you, that makes it much, much cooler.

perhaps because i have seen this look a zillion times already, it seems like nothing special. the sandals don't go with the outfit. and haven't grandma sweaters been a staple of guys' and girls' wardrobes since kurt cobain made them look so good?

Your picture quality is much better.

Not crazy about the sandals, but the picture is nice.
