I read both ATL and fashionista – ATL tends towards more snarkiness – but this sites commentators takes the cake for bitchiness. If the blog owners want to support IP protection its their right to keep on writing these articles and publicizing the issue – just as you have the right to keep complaining about it. Of course you dont have to read THEIR blog. As a person who cant afford the designer stuff I do believe they do deserve compensation if not IP protection depending on their designs/creations. There needs to be some compromise and cheap mass market brands may be need to just suck it up and create more jobs for creative people to actually design crap instead of piggybacking off of someone elses ideas. Suck it up and recruit talent and foster a mass brand trend for once and have it trickle up as opposed to down.
