#5 is fat. There's no other way to describe it, she writes like a jealous fat person.
And I don't think quality writing is crucial for this site (comments section = more entertainment than a trashy gossip mag), all they need to do is get the message across.
And for the record, NUDE DRESS + RED LIPS = SHUTTING IT DOWN.
Give Abbie a chance also.
That's all.

Haha, nice. I AM RIDICULOUSLY FAT I CAN BARELY TYPE WITHOUT MASHING THE KEYS TOGETHER. Cool. Anyway, who wants to read bad/uninteresting writing? Im not asking for Fitzgerald here, but if it's boring to boot, someone should be notified. It IS a blog afterall, they need to know what their readers think. The only thing this site does now is make these idiotic adventures in copyright posts so that they get commenters saying the same thing and starting arguments. It's cheap and while it brings up comments, it brings down both the literary value, and more importantly, the sense of fun the site used to have.

i hate the beauty expert, i love penelope's outfit, but that was a cop-out because they already cited her for her nude shoes earlier in the week.
also, the photo of brad/angie is smashed together. if fashionista wants to pay me, i'll put together some photoshopped graphics for you.
p.s.
abby annoyed me from the get-go because in her first post, she had a ridiculous amount of spelling/grammar errors. and she used to be an editor.... get it together.
i also love the commentators on this blog. always entertaining, rarely classy, but usually pretty educated women/men responding. :)

Wow. If you angry commenters are getting this bent-out-of-shape over a poorly posted blog entry, your lives must not be very fulfilling. Think about that next time you start to write something negative anonymously (really...show such courage!). Then, stop yourself, do something more productive in that time, and you might just find you don't dislike yourself so much! (because clearly a lot of you have issues you could work through).
Anyway, on these negative commenters behalf, I'm sorry Abby...keep up the good work!

It's funny that having an opinion about the state of this site makes you fat, single and stupid with unfulfilling lives, issues and an apparent dislike for yourself.
If anything these comments (anonymous or not!) are serving to show the editors that something is not working anymore! As someone already mentioned, the posts start late and finish early and even though one commenter thinks quality writing isn't necessary, how about quality subjects?
http://fashionista.com/2009/05/rihanna_noir_ring.php#comments - This post was the turning point for me. It just seemed so unnecessary.
Again, we should give Abby a chance but this site needs something to bring back a little of its old flavor. How about a site makeover?

hahaha ... i think it's annoying to sign in, which is why i comment anonymously. does anyone know who "i" am on this blog anyway? my name's Emily, it's great to meet all of you. I'm commentor #20, I'm well-educated, very skinny, and engaged to a ridiculously handsome man. I have an extremely fulfilling life and i love to read this blog. what's wrong about that?
the amount of posts have dropped off quite a bit, I agree with #21 or whomever that was, but i just assume that they must be doing more interview (life with..), etc, and traveling more. I don't mind the lack of posts as long as the quality is up there.
i think these type of comments are great-- not sure if they listen to them (i did fill out that survey awhile back), but it's encouraging to know that you have a voice.
fashionista needs to keep in mind that the most passionate opinions are usually those that oppose you, and are usually the minority (as with politics), but perhaps they will read this and fire that megan 'beauty' girl... one can only hope...

To the incredibly fabulous and skinny Emily: I like Megan! She's very helpful in the comment section of her articles... I mean, being a non-tranny guy, I could only pass her advice/info on, but I do appreciate the attentiveness she shows to the readers of her articles.

Did the local high school yearbook club have some spare time to put that graphic together?
