Fresh Blooms

topshopbloomers.jpgEven though the weather in New York has been trying desperately to tell us otherwise, it’s summer, and time to free your legs of the pants.

This is obviously a theme with us today. See also: the spread we put up earlier.

We can think of no better way to usher in the season than with this adorable pair of bloomers from Topshop. Color us obsessed.

The super tiny yellow and red flowers are cute, but the bow on the back of the shorts is what really sold us. Bows are like cupcakes. When done well, they always make us smile.

Plus, the shorts are only $70. Score another point for not-pants.

fyi - whenever you guys link to topshop, it just takes me to the main page. can you either figure out a better way to link to the direct item page or just include the exact item name so i know what to search for to see price/different views? thanks.

you must live in a really special world to be excited about the fact that shorts are "only $70." i really hope you never take ANYTHING for granted, especially your $70 "bloomers."

#4 they are actually called bloomers, love, so there's really no need to put the quotes around the name. and seeing that this site pretty much regularly writes about expensive, high end designers, i'm not sure why you're so surprised to find $70 being a good deal.

im getting pretty erked by your topshop bipolar attitude. one minute you are beyond disgusted with it and the next your infatuated by their bloomers! if you are going to condemn a brand and advise us not to purchase their obvious knock offs- why suggest supporting the brand at all if it takes away from budding talent like alexander wang and kane!

The shorter the better, for sure. These are adorable and would go with virtually anything. $70 is worth it if you can wear them to the park, or for a dressier night out!
