Nasir Mazhar’s one of those little treasures we wish we could keep for ourselves.
The milliner’s extravagant headgear has been on our radar since well before he designed for Madonna’s Dazed and Confused tour or built Agy’s infamous reindeer hat. The hairdresser turned hatter, one of the coolest things come out of London since a young Alexander McQueen, should stay on this side of the pond.
But, sigh, the dreaded Hollywood claws sunk in yesterday thanks to Lady Gaga’s appearance on Ellen. She wore one of Mazhar’s orbital hats, which (though we loved it) might’ve resembled our grade school retainer.
Now, it’s only a matter of time until he sweeps the red carpet and we can say, “Remember when?”

I know this is about Nasir Mazhar and his cool hats (The reindeer one and the tarten that aggy wore always makes me laugh), but can i just express my absolute DISLIKE for Lady Gaga. Thanks.
I think that most people can appreciate Lady Gaga’s individual style(esp. when she wears those cute little outftis/costumes), BUT come on the head gear is a little toooo much. lol!
I don’t like her style. I don’t think she will last long.
That headgear makes me think of Darla from Finding Nemo.

it sucks that peopel confuse her insane style for not having talent. girl writes and composes her own songs (and other peoples!) and they are pretty much pop heaven if youre into it. she will last because her music is good and she has control over it.
i agree with Jac.
I’m not going to start dressing like Lady Gaga but I appreciate at her style and I love dancing to her music.
I think she’s pretty talented as far as pop stars go; most of the singers she gets compared to can’t even play a musical instrument.
