Mid-Day Snack

natashapolyguccispring.jpgKnock, Knock: We wonder if it makes Gucci uncomfortable when a blog devotes their entire day intricately detailing just how to rip off a runway collection? {WhoWhatWear}

Work It Out: Burn fat while raising money for Elettra Wiedemann’s charity Just One Frickin’ Day this Saturday, May 16th at the Soho Equinox. {IMG Models Blog}

It’s So On: There’s a high street battle a-brewing! H&M debuted pieces of their fall collection and they giving Topshop a run for their money. Are you team Topshop or H&M? {Refinery 29}

From Russia, With Love: Apparently the hot scene of the moment is in Moscow. And yet somehow we’re not there. {Hint}

Oh, Ty Ty: Axed ANTM judge dished to Access Hollywood about Tyra’s “universe”. Maybe that’s where Kelly Bensimon’s planet exists? {Access Hollywood}

What is wrong with you?

How is WhoWhatWear in any way "ripping off" Gucci's (mediocre to boot) collection.
All I see is guide on how to recreate the looks. Are you guys going to start attacking that too now? Ridiculous.

I agree with guest #1. I'm amazed that you guys could say WWWD is providing tips for "ripping off" Gucci. So apparently, according to Fashionista, nothing can be "inspired by" anymore? Wow. Ugggh.

Geez, guys. Next time pick another designer. Frida Gianni: "When someone wants to offend me by saying I’m copied by the high street — well, for me, it’s a huge compliment."

Seriously, Fashionista. Since when is putting together a look inspired by the runway a rip-off. The pieces don't look exactly like Gucci and that's the point. If they did, then it would be a rip off. Stop trying so hard to be the knockoff police.

Yeah I don't see the rip off thing here. Although personally I didn't like any of their selections...

The real issue here is if you wanted to be inspired by Frida's collection, would you go to EDDIE BAUER?!

I'm sorry but every single fashion magazine out there reports on how to get runway looks without actually buying very single runway piece...I didn't realize it was a crime.
