I agree with all of these picks!! Does anyone know where to see pics of LSD, Sylvana, and MMB? They weren't on style.com and I always like their looks.

And I am going to say something insane now...I think there is a chance that I might like Leighton Meester's get-up. Have I lost it completely? Oh, and speaking of LV, how much did kerry washington NOT do justice to the dress you posted from the runway on frackowiak yesterday?!

And I liked lake bell and rihanna in the tuxes.

And I know you shouldn't really begin sentences with the word "and", ha.

Wow, the only one I agree with from either list is Lou Doillon (and wasn't it funny that Jessica Biel's dress was nearly a knockoff of Lou's, but done so badly)?

oh, and I haven't noticed anyone in balenciaga or lanvin yet...I'm sure this can't be the case, or is there a reason for it?

guest # 4, Nadja Auermann wore Lanvin, and I think she looked amazing.
and i have to agree with guest 2 about Leighton Meester.

Diane Kruger looked amazing. And I have to give it to Leighton Meester...I didn't know she had it in her!

Victoria Beckham looked amazing and fierce as usual, but i loved the contrast of her goddess tan and attitude to the soft pink polka dot MJ dress, with those fantastic LV shoes.

Kate Moss apart from make-up looked amazing!!

Diane Kruger stunning, perfect dress for her.

Others bored me to death!

Worst dressed is Rachel Bilson. Does she wear the same dress in different colors to every event she attends? How on earth is this woman considered a style-setter????

i agree, Sasha looked beautiful! I also liked Gisele her legs wow, helena christensen looked amazing, julia stegner, heidi klum, coco rocha (one of the only ones who wore a long dress..i feel like most of them wore short), daria, hilary rhoda, haha i loved so many.
and i agree with diane kruger and vanessa traina.
im sorry, but i feel like the models always look better...
oh and how did you guys feel about raquel's blonde blonde hair?

I was surprised but I really like Anne V's short Peter Som dress. It looked so delicate and very Peter.

And to Guest 11, I LOVE Raquel's hair. I think it looks amazing and it makes her look younger.

Kate's dress wasn't that impressive. If you look at all the ones by Marc, excluding the Louis Vuitton, everything looked like Lanvin's 2009 spring collection.

My favorites were Marion Cotillard, Lily Donaldson, Jessica Alba, Elizabeth Banks, Anja Rubik and Stella Tennant.

The biggest surprises were Dr. Lisa Airan in Balmain; she's usually conservative. And Virginia Smith, in Ann Demeulemeester.

My biggest disappointment was Alber Elbaz, who wore clogs AND no socks!

I thought most were really boring. Loved: Alek, Leighton, Ashley, Oluchi, Ivanka, and as surprised as I am to say it...Katy Perry. And rather than "Model as Muse" the theme seemed to be 'Model as Giantess' as they towered over their tiny designers.

•Sasha.. executed perfectly like I've never seen before

•Miranda Kerr.. the Jil Sander was "stop slideshow" so I can stare; not sure if I prefer it on her or the ads..very different

•Stam.. evoked feelings of jealousy. I covet Rodarte now that Balmain has lost a bit of its luster

•Ashley beat MK.. jewelry in the back was very intriguing

•Blake L.. very disappointing how cheap she made the Versace look or vica versa

•Leighton.. no way jose. I can't believe my eyes..she might be on to something..

If I'm not mistaken, MK was in vintage Lanvin. Amazing.

I kind of hated Shalom's dress. Agree with comment 20. She looked like a black bush. It had nothing to do with any kind of shape or innovation, just a lot of fabric.

MK was in vintage Christian Lacroix Haute Couture and she killed it. I agree with Britt, she can do no wrong.

#20, sometimes it's hard to understand avant-garde but it's hardly a garbage bag.

#21, "just a lot of fabric"? Are you an expert in ruching? If it turns out she's wearing Viktor&Rolf, CdG, or Yohji, you're going to be eating your "had nothing to do with any kind of shape or innovation"

So I think that the Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton camps got it COMPLETELY wrong this year... Perfect example - Leighton Meester who I adore, looking like a clown. And also, I was pretty disappointed with Chanel/Haute Couture this year. My winners of the evening:

Lou Doillon in Nina Ricci
Yasmine LeBon in Christopher Kane
Nadja Auermann in Lanvin
Daria Werbowy in Balmain
Lake Bell in Rag & Bone
Sasha Pivovarova in Giambattista Valli

I liked Coco, Stam, MK, and Sessilee Lopez.

I was dissapointed that there were so many short dresses though. It felt like more people were headed into a club, rather than walking up the steps to the met ball.

RashomonRebel- I don't care if it's by Jesus himself. I'm a fan of avant garde, but if I think the look fell short and came off more Glad bags than edgy, I'll say so. That dress was wearing the poor girl.

guest #12 did you really look everywhere?
and everyone else wondering where Shalom's 'dress' came from, why was this so difficult?:
first of all it isn't a dress, it is a Bob Mackie cape (the guy who makes a lot of showgirl-esque outfits) underneath she was wearing a sparkly black Nina Ricci body suit by Olivier.
