Adventures in Copyright: Kerr to Explain?

But I’m only half way through my coffee and three hours deep into a move from Brooklyn into Manhattan and I could be wrong. So we’ll start with a yes.

Is she even allowed to model other lingerie? For a department store? Even if she’s best friends with Elle MacPherson and actually only wears her bras in real life because they’re a million times better than Victoria’s Secret? VS has pretty iron clad contracts for their girls. Want to walk Givenchy? Fine. Want to model in another catalog? Absolutely not.

And if it’s not her, way to go Bloomingdale’s for finding the only other human being in the world who looks like that.

Meanwhile this looks just like Cat McNeil, but it’s not, is it? The url even reads, “PseudoCat.” I might need another cup of coffee.

ummm Marisa Miller has been doing other catalogs for years so i don't think they actually have that rule.

It could be both of them, especially if Elle Macpherson's designs haven't changed in a few years. That pic of Miranda is definitely a few years old (I'd say at least three or four), and that could be a pic of Catherine from a few years back. It wouldn't surprise me if they used these images from old Aussie campaigns specifically to take advantage of Miranda and Catherine's new-found international status.

That looks nothing like McNeil.. and am I the only one who noticed how her boobs are twice as large on the right?

To guest #9, I definitely noticed that too.

VS is notorious for this, and it's kind of upsetting. Even in the bras with no wire, they make her look like bigger than she actually is.

They just look airbrushed in the second photo. So unnecessary.

i agree..its a little frustrating when super skinny fit girls (the models) have these ginourmous looking breasts in the bra ads courtesy of some hidden gel inserts.

That is definitely Miranda but it's also definitely old as! Back in the day when she first got big, before she started with VS.

According to modeling contracts you can model for various products even if they are similar this includes lingerie. Exclusive contracts went out years ago since the models realized how much more they could make and for less legal complications. As an ex-model I know she has done nothing in the wrong.
