The Oscars are safe.
Starlets choose something long, something pretty, something with a jewel on top. But our Oscars, the CFDAs, are a celebration of all things fashion with a capital ‘F’ which means we get to choose best dressed, not US Weekly.
We’re giving Kirsten Dunst’s Rodarte a free pass because a) she looked amazing and b) they won!!
I, obviously, love Daphne Guinness from head to tiny toe. Navy blue and black gets me every time, add some lace and a pair of dangerous platforms and I’m sold. And Ashley Olsen might be the only person who can pull off that much orange, (sorry Fern). Dree Hemingway just looks hot and I wish I could borrow her dress for that damn wedding.
As for Abby, she’s feeling the super short and structured dresses on Diane Kruger (whose closet and boyfriend she regularly covets) and Lake Bell (who does dark and sultry better than anybody). And while she realizes there’s no way in hell she’d ever manage to pull it off, she’s fairly obsessed with Liya Kebede’s deep V dress and lace bandeau.
And while we’re on the subject of people looking super hot, have you seen this?
