Fashion Is Fun

Sweet Nostalgia

94858.jpgDo you remember all your Swatch watches as fondly as we do?

Well, they’re still around. And while they may no longer be covered in tulips or Batman designs, these new ones are still pretty dope.

We’ve been looking around at watch options, as we’re sick of having to sort through our bags to find our phones when we want to know what time it is.

The solution is simple but we’ve been putting off the purchase. Now Swatch has us ready to buy.

We like that there’s some heft to these, not like that dainty Coach watch with the skinny strap we used to wear years ago. It comes in four colors, all with a nature spin: blue for the sea, light brown for earth, emerald for greenery, and red for sunset.

So expect to see something new and colorful on our wrists this summer. And if we can dig up our old ones at mom and dad’s house, an old school neon version with a Swatch guard too.

I bought this watch in gold last winter and Love It - get tons of compliments!

I wanted a chunky gold watch but didn't want to spend a ton since chances are I won't we wearing it next summer.

Where did you get the gold watch and what does it look like? I've been searching for the perfect gold watch (classic looking gold watch, yet affordable)and my search is going nowhere....
What I would give for a Cartier Tank...

guest 2, i believe that Swatch is the answer to your "where". because this entire post was about Swatch and the guest 1 says she got "this watch" - pictured, in gold... which should answer your "what does it look like". so. swatch.com

My boyfriend just bought a black and white swatch, which I made fun of UNTIL I went to the store in Miami! So cute!

This brings back so many memories of the Cinema Set I had in junior high. The parent company also made watches for Coca-Cola.

I had multiple guards on mine and now I'm trying to find some place who sells the right color so I can put it on my Submariner.

This trend is better than the ToyWatch one, which is basically wearing a knock-off.

#9. all of our advertorials are clearly marked "WEBVERTORIAL" & obviously don't have a comments section, author etc. so we're sorry you don't like them, but we haven't had one in over a month so no need to boo!

I feel like this whole Swatch making a comeback thing happened two years ago. Maybe the new earth color line is new for this season but they came out with that style in gold at least two summers ago so it is nothing new, they're all over the place!

Boo to advertorials? How do you think websites make money? Seriously - wise up. You should say YAY for advertorials otherwise fabulous websites like Fashionista.com would have no budget to play with and bring you wonderful content.
