Streetwalker: Black & White & Red All Over

a red headed streetwalker.jpgTekla, 32, stylist

Got Her: Walking down the Bowery, right before the rain hit

Stalked Her: It’s been a long time since we’ve seen someone look so chic in a shirt dress. So chic we didn’t even question her tights on such a warm day.

Shot Her: It’s a simple, streamlined look and we love that she’s rocking a wedge even though she’s already tall (plus, we’re super jealous of her long legs). And the details: we didn’t even notice her fab rings and funky tattoos until we got closer, but they made her outfit that much cooler.

She Said: “Simple and comfortable, always. I love designer, but never with the brand name showing.”

We Say: Her unique take on minimalism deserves its own name.

The wedges are great and that's coming from some one who really dislikes them. Loving the rings as well.

Love it! The look is clean, minimal, and she does not look like she is "trying too hard."

#6, why would anyone take you seriously when you have zero comprehension of the English language?

she's pulling off two things that i usually dislike- denim jackets and wedges! well done. also i love a good shirtdress but my friends always say i look a little "don't wake daddy" rather than this chic lady...

brava Fashionista! She looks great. I love how the minimalist black and white combo of the shirtdress, tights, and wedges works with that very 90's denim jacket. She pulls it off well

hahahahahahha #6. #8 is I believe noting that you wrote "your joking" instead of "you're joking" as in the contraction to "you are joking"

I love her rings! While I like this look in general, I do feel it is better suited for March-April, not June or the really warm months because of the tights, which I think are just silly looking. I would like to see this look with a different wash of denim jacket and a more neutral shoe, whether it be a wedge or stacked heel, in a cork or nude color.

so i think she looks super cute, but am interested to hear what people think of the star tattoo. I know loads of people with one and kind of feel like it's too generic. thoughts?

I don't really get the outfit. I think her shoes are a little moon boot looking. She can sort of pull it off, but if I saw her walking down the street I would think it was a little bizarre.

Ive been reading this blog for over a year and have never seen anyone comment on poor grammar. The only idiot is you, maybe you should invest some time into your empty life instead of looking for grammar errors in fashion blogs :)
