Dear Christy,
You have always been my favorite and yet, you just keep getting better.
I mean, you’re obviously still ridiculously gorgeous, but also way cooler than I would have ever imagined the first time I saw you in a magazine or when I watched in the best George Michael video ever.
I love that you’re on the cover of Vogue. But what I love even more is the retrospective of your 25 year career in their pages. Oh, the memories.
When you went to NYU at the height of your career, that was badass. The fact that you’re getting your Masters at Columbia in the same program that one of my friends did a few years (hence, how I know what a great one it is) is even better. That you go on trips (with aforementioned friend and Planned Parenthood) to areas of the world where maternal mortality is incredibly high and try to do something about it, well, I hardly have words for that.
That’s not to mention your adorable family. It is not lost on me that you and Gwyneth get your girls together for play dates. Love! The husband isn’t too shabby either.
And all the while you still rock a YSL ad better than anyone.
Just keep all this going for another 25 years at least. Cool? Thanks.
