I have so many necklaces that I wish I could still wear but they're missing stones or mildly damaged or just looking a wee bit scraggly. Some I could probably easily fix myself, but the fact is I'm lazy. And others could use a jewelry maker's delicate hand. Because as much as I love design and fashion, I'm far from crafty. I leave that stuff to people far more talented than myself. So I wish I was going to be in Los Angeles tomorrow night when designer Marnie Greenwood, of Marnie Rocks, hosts a jewelry making party at Beckley. You can bring in all your old pieces and update them into something new and fabulous. Can someone get one of these scheduled in NYC soon? Details after the jump!

WHEN: Thursday, August 6, 2009 6:00-8:00pm WHERE: Beckley Boutique 8620 Melrose Avenue (Corner of Huntley and Melrose) West Hollywood, CA
