We started hearing word from the Jean Paul Gaultier show earlier today via Tweets from lucky attendees. Old Hollywood was the theme and seating was even named after the major studios.

When he wrote about crocodile overalls paired with a sable coat, we knew this was the look we had to see stat.

Our friends over at Fashionologie have some of the first shots and indeed we’d be hard-pressed to find something that says luxe more than this particular outfit.
Overalls aren’t the first thing that comes to mind when we think of couture. But I guess you can’t really compare those Guess? ones we had in middle school to something made of croc. And our leather bomber jacket, though a favorite, was no sable.
The rest of the show is pretty impressive too, though we are always partial to a little Barbarella referencing.
