I know this is going to betray me as an uber-dork, but I don't care! Mcgonnagall was rocking the balmain shoulders in 'goblet of fire.' SOOO I'm pretty sure Balmain copied her. hahahaha.

Totally caught that. And we thought Dubledore was so trendy with his little bell beard ties.

I literally said "Balmain!" (relatively loudly) to myself when I saw her!

I noticed it too!! And I saw an advance screening so I couldn't tell anyone. McGonagall's shoulders are best seen on screen anyway, not by my description.

I was thinking the exact same thing, quietly giggling to myself and wondering if anyone else had noticed...

Of course I noticed...seeing that the fashion throughout the rest of the movie was...well horrendous.

Draco, of course looked phenomenal in his all black-ensembles. But...Hermione's shoes? After seeing Emma on the red carpet in all her stylista glory, how could they even think to put her in those brown, velcro, atrocities?

That's all.

when i grow up i'm going to make a movie about witches and wizards who ONLY wear high fashion.
i'm seeing vintage mcqueen, circa the wiccan inspired collection where the models walked the lines of a giant pentagram at the show.
