You're hanging in the wrong places. Go to Venice or go to Merlrose Place. Way better.

Yes, yes ... I always judge a city's fashion but what people are wearing at the mall! Did you go into Forever 21 or Banana Republic?

Uggs never disappear here...even though it's currently 95 in the San Fernando Valley. I would head over to Beverly Hills/Brentwood/Santa Monica/West Hollywood if you want to check out the chic-er set.

It definitely isnt LA without Uggs paired with a sweatsuit. Love it!

no. 4 is why I've never been to LA. It's bad enough having to see Uggs everywhere in the winter...

Oh, too bad -- I hope by now you've gotten to see more interesting looks. (You were in all the neighborhoods of my youth and I'm loving thigh-high boots, but I'd melt in them in the heat of summer!)
I saw some great outfits last week that I wish I'd gotten pictures of: a bubble skirt that looked more draped and goddesssy than bubble, a short silky patterned dress that hung off one shoulder, shoes I wish I could wear to walk in but were worn out dancing, and things I've forgotten as days go by...
Go to the west-side, too.
