We are so excited for September. While the official list won't be released until August 17th, we just received a huge rundown of events for Fashion's Night Out, the New York City fashion celebration this September 10th. Over 300 retailers in all five boroughs have already signed up to party from 6pm to 11pm. We're a little overwhelmed by it...in a good way. We already told you about Alex Wang at Barney's. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Also at Barney's? The Olsen twins (girl crush times two!), Jonathan Adler and Lisa Perry, on hand to teach you how to knit. After you learn, you can knit a square to be included in a blanket to be sold to benefit the September 11th Memorial Fund.

Isaac Mizrahi will be performing cabaret at Bergdorf, and you know that'll be a good show. Poppy King's talking lipstick at Henri Bendel. Donna Karan and Carolina Herrera are on hand at Saks to open their new in-store boutiques. They'll be rubbing shoulders with beauty experts Bobbi Brown and Frederic Fekkai as well as designers Elie Tahari, Giuseppe Zanotti, Josie Natori, Rachel Roy (who you can also find at Macy's Herald Square for her new line Rachel Rachel Roy), Ralph Rucci, Geren Ford and Faraone Menella. Bloomingdale's on 59th will have a special costume exhibit geared toward Hollywood icons and an appearance by Ronny Kobo of Torn. Ultimate party photog Patrick McMullan will be at Lord & Taylor hosting an exhibit of his photographs, and some interesting photography subjects will be there also: the New York City Firefighters shot for the 2010 calendar (we'll feel so Sex and the City). Even if you don't live in New York, you can get in on the festivities. All 40 Neiman Marcus locations across the country will be participating. The Beverly Hills branch will be New York- themed, with our favorite Hills boss Lisa Love, Vogue's senior west coast editor, and photographer Norman Jean Roy both present; the latter for an exhibition and book signing. And in Dallas, director Matt Tyraneur is hosting a special screening of his documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor. Phew! We've been promised that this is just a sneak peek, which means there's way more to be announced. The official website is http://fashionsnightout.com, and all the information you'll need to know will be there. Keep your eyes peeled, that's where the full list (which we can't even imagine the epicness of) will be come August 17th. Thank you Anna! --AMANDA JEAN BOYLE
