Stylist Patricia Field has created another custom Diet Coke bottle, currently available at Selfridges in England. This time the inspiration was Ugly Betty.
Now Ugly Betty hasn’t been much of a buzzworthy show of late, but perhaps that is not the case overseas. ABC almost pulled the plug on it this spring, so the timing seems a bit odd.
Also the bottle, wow is it not so cute. It’s a pink leopard-ish print. And guess what? It comes with stickers that you can put on your bottle…or maybe your notebook.
What you weren’t dying for a Betty poncho sticker for your computer monitor?
Other Diet Coke collaborations, even Field’s City Collection, made a lot more sense and didn’t seem to target such a young audience. Really, this just seems like a waste of everyone’s time and money.
