What Are You Beyond?

Iambeyonddramabag.jpgI’m a huge Bikram yoga junkie, though my practice has certainly fallen off a bit since I landed at Fashionista. Note to self: get back to that hot room!

That said, I’m always on the lookout for cool yoga gear. Currently, I’m obsessing over these canvas totes from Beyond Yoga, which are actually not yoga-centric at all but definitely useful for carrying around my mat, clothes, and coconut water.

But really, they’re just super cute canvas bags that graffiti artist Andre Charles adorned with words selected by some A-List celebs. They were asked to complete the sentence “I am beyond…”

Rachel Bilson’s is my fave, as I too am beyond drama. Or at least trying to be. The others from Jennifer Aniston (Grateful), Reese Witherspoon (Blessed), Cameron Diaz (Hopeful), Anne Hathaway (Lucky), Drew Barrymore (Happy) are a little more obvious, but no less fun.

And a portion of the proceeds go to The Art of Elysium which brings the arts to kids who are battling major medical issues. That makes us beyond happy.

They go on sale tomorrow exclusively at iambeyond.com

So if you could customize your own, what would it say?

it's not about hating kids with medical issues. it's about hating butt ugly useless junk (that fills our landfills) to make money for a charity. you don't need to make or buy an ugly bag to help children battling medical issues. you can donate your time and your money sans ugly graffiti bag.

i agree with 4. Dont buy stuff, just donate instead. I dont really like this consumerist aspect to charity...

I'm beyond over the weird mean girls vibe that a handful of commenters have about everything that Abby posts. I'm sure they're median age 14 and angsty, but still.

Abby, this was a lovely post (as always)!

"I am beyond: tired of seeing that other smug tote that is obviously not a plastic bag"
