Leather Bound

I have a complete fascination with Angelina Jolie. While I realize I am far from alone in this space, I know that there still exist many haters. Now aside from the striking beauty, the children, BRAD!, and the devotion to humanitarian issues, I’m a huge fan of the simplicity of her style.

The lady likes what she likes. What she likes is often black. And lately, she’s been doing the more goddess-y gown thing. So I for one was pretty psyched to see her going more old-school tough girl in this A/W Michael Kors black leather dress last night at the Inglourious Basterds premiere in LA.

I dare say she is one of very few actresses in Hollywood that could pull this off with the same badass attitude that Heidi Mount did on the runway.

Michael Kors must be pretty psyched right now as basicially the two most famous (and photographed) women in the country are choosing his clothes. While Michelle Obama has been spotted regularly at public appearances in Kors, Angelina, not so much. Though we hear that she wears lots in “real life” and that the designer has even created capsule collections for her.

So do you think Diane Kruger’s pissed?

I'm with you! I LOVE Angelina! HAters are jeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalous, eeeeeeeeeeeeeenvious and cold hearted down deep and definitely have low self esteem and INSECURE!

I think Diane Kruger felt blah after seeing Angelina stepping off the limo.

Angelina scares me. I won't forget the blood necklace thing. She seems like an evil robot that cares about humanity only because that's how her maker programmed her.
That said, I think she looks good.
Why would Diane Kruger be pissed though?

I'm not a fan of her personally, but I will admit that she has great style, even if she can be a bit matronly and repetetive sometimes. I like to see someone who knows what works for them.

I don't care about Angelina one way or the other, I find her and Brad boring (although she looks great in that pic, vintage Angelina), but could we puh-leeeeeeze retire the term "haters"??

Not everyone who dislikes Angelina is a "hater" (or on a "team"), and just in general, every time someone expresses a contrary or critical opinion, it does not make that person a hater (I'm thinking of the comments about advertorials here from yesterday when dissenters were termed haterzzzz).

Whenever I hear the term "hater" I think of MySpace and, I don't know, Uggs, Juicy sweatpants? Although it was a pretty lame term back in the early 2000s as well.

Please stop.

I don't know about Diane Kruger but Jennifer Aniston might not know what to think since she's on a Sept magazine cover wearing a similar strapless leather dress too.
