Lily Hops & Bops for ELLE

Lily Allen’s landed the cover of ELLE UK’s October issue in honor of the 25th anniversary of London Fashion Week.

They’ve put her in a blond wig and custom outfits by Brit designers including Richard Nicoll, Stella McCartney, Burberry and Giles. The crystallized, body con Louise Goldin’s her favorite.

In this behind the scenes video, which also features photographer Rankin talking about how “uber-cool” Lily is, she says she’s never really been into the whole Kate Moss, Sienna Miller thing and jokingly claims Alexa Chung’s her London Style Icon.

It’s the graphic rock star make-up we really couldn’t take our eyes off of though.

I love Elle UK, but this comment is actually related to another across-the-pond publication--LOVE. I need it. I must have it. I'm dying to read it. But where can I find it in NYC?

I used to have respect for Lily Allen. These days she just seems like such a sell-out. But I do like the shoot and so glad that Elle UK decided to do this. London Fashion Week is going to be huge! Can't wait!

check your local borders/barnes and noble, or even sometimes you can find subscriptions to the UK mags through amazon.

definately going to pick this up when it comes out. i'm such a huge fan of lily, she's truely an original when it comes to her music, and i love how she does her own thing in fashion instead of following the trends.

Lily Allen was fun back when she was an individual... "Alright, Still" is a great album. But I'm afraid now she's trying too hard to dig in to Katy Perry's and Lady Gaga's fan base.

She looks really hot, but I think it's more that she has incorporated Natasha Khan's look on stage; the make up and the outfits are very similar. I adored her personal style last winter.
